Mmmm…. Butter

Classic style with a few sophisticated touches and dreamy colors are what makes Butter Shoes the perfect choice for every woman. Hand sewn and beautifully crafted in Italy, these shoes are the brainchild of designer Nancy Geist and her long time business partner, Lee Riech. This isn’t the first time they have collaborated to create shoe magic— Cynthia Rowley shoes, Nancy-Nancy, Tibi shoesand Something Bleu, the unique bridal footwear line were also created by these shoe connoisseurs. Launched in January 2007, Butter shoes are their newest venture. If you haven’t heard about this gorgeous line of shoes already, it’s about time! Inspired by vintage style, the Butter shoe line is versatile with a wide variety of styles and soft, luxurious materials such as Italian nappa and suede, smooth satin and metallic wash fabrics.

These fabulous shoes can be found online at shoefly.com, simplysoles.com, endless.com, www.shopcopperpenny.com and the shoe store Tani in NYC. Butter Shoes retail around $198 for shoes and $450 for boots. Whether you are looking for daytime or evening shoes, the quality and comfort of Butter shoes also compliment its great price point. Something that was on the mind’s of these incredible designers as they absolutely refused to sacrifice quality to maintain affordability.  I wish all designers thought of that! So go ahead…indulge. After all, it’s not everyday we get to walk in shoes that are as smooth as Butter.
